Elizabeth Charnock (b. 1990, Shrewsbury, UK) is a British artist working primarily in drawing and sculpture. Her ink drawings on paper are detailed and precise, informed by her interest in architecture, urban planning and spatial relationships. She creates fictional, scaled-down environments, capturing moments “in-between” that can almost appear as empty stage sets. These tranquil snapshots explore themes of isolation, longing, familiarity, and distance.
